Our Story

HOW IT STARTED

Bethel Community Church Inc is located in the small town of Alamo, Texas. Its beginnings go back to a vision given to our founding pastor, Juan Sanchez, in 1996 when the Lord called him to this area. The very first services began in a home a block away. Together with his wife, Rebeca, they began constructing the first building, Templo Bethel. The Lord has been faithful to provide the means and the people for the continued growth of the church. We have now been growing in faith for twenty-six years.

CONTINUED GROWTH

Ten years later, Founding Pastor Juan Sanchez appointed Asael and Melody Sanchez as lead pastors. Pastor Asael continued to drive the vision for the area by finishing the construction of the building just years later. The church continued to grow and soon after they moved from the small church to its current building. Along with the new building, Templo Bethel became Bethel Community Church. In January of 2022 Pastors Asael and Melody Sanchez retired from their lead pastor role but continue to serve as elders of the church. 

WHERE WE'RE AT TODAY

In January of 2022 Israel and Dora Sanchez were appointed lead pastors of Bethel Community Church. They've served in numerous roles in the church and have a heart to bring souls to the Lord's kingdom. They have the calling and commitment to carry on the vision of Pastor Juan Sanchez, who has gone to be with the Lord, but more importantly to carry out the vision of our God. 

EL COMIENZO

Bethel Community Church Inc. esta localizada en el pequeño pueblo de Alamo, TX. Sus comienzos se remontan a una visión dada a nuestro pastor fundador, Juan Sanchez en 1996 cuando el Señor lo llamo a esa área. Los primeros servicios empezaron en un hogar a una cuadra de distancia. Junto con su esposa, Rebeca, empezaron a construir el primer edificio, Templo Bethel. El Señor ha sido fiel en proveer los medios a las personas para el crecimiento continuo de la iglesia. Llevamos veintiséis anos creciendo en fe. 

CRECIMIENTO CONTINUO

  Diez anos después, el Pastor Fundador Juan Sanchez, designo Asael y Melody Sanchez como pastores principales. El Pastor Asael continuo conduciendo la visión en la área terminando la construcción de el edificio años después. La iglesia continuo creciendo y poco después se mudaron de la iglesia pequeña a su edificio actual. Junto con el nuevo edificio, Templo Bethel se convirtió en Bethel Community Church. En enero del 2022, los pastores Asael y Melody Sanchez re retiraron de su función como pastores principales pero continúan sirviendo como ancianos de la iglesia. 

DONDE ESTAMOS HOY

  En enero del 2022 Israel y Dora Sanchez fueron designados como pastores principales de Bethel Community Church. Ellos han servido en numerosas funciones en la iglesia y tienen un corazón para traer almas a el reino del Jesucristo. Ellos tienen el llamado y el compromisio de llevar adelante la visión de el Pastor Juan Sanchez, quien ha pasado a estar con el Señor, pero mas importante llevar adelante la visión de nuestro Dios.
